About me

Hi, I'm Nelofer.

I’m a therapist and certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner based in Panama City, Florida. I work with clients across the U.S. who are navigating trauma, chronic stress, and nervous system dysregulation—especially those who have tried other approaches and are still searching for relief.

Growing up with a parent shaped by unresolved childhood trauma gave me an early, embodied understanding of how generational patterns are passed down—and how possible it is to change them with the right support. This lived experience continues to inform the way I work: with care, respect for the nervous system, and a deep belief in our capacity for repair.

My approach bridges counseling, movement, and body-based awareness. For years, I tried to think my way through healing, but it wasn’t until I discovered somatic work that I truly began to shift. After just a few sessions, I realized I had found the missing piece. Since then, I’ve been helping others access that same transformation.

I bring clinical skill, lived experience, and a deeply collaborative spirit to this work. I don’t claim to have all the answers. What I do know is how to create space where real healing can emerge.

Clients often say they feel safe with me, that I’m real, and that they trust themselves more because they’ve learned how to trust our relationship first.
If your body is asking for a different kind of support, and you’re ready to stop doing this alone, I’d be honored to walk with you.
